Consent Tree launches DPDP-first compliance platform built to let anyone verify its evidence, without trusting the company.

Trovance Ventures Private Limited (“TVPL”) today announced the public launch of Consent Tree (consentree.in), a compliance platform built specifically for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). The platform helps organisations capture consent, honour data principal rights requests, and maintain a verifiable evidence trail — without asking anyone to simply take the company's word for it.

Consent Tree's central claim is unusual in the compliance software market: every piece of consent evidence the platform produces is cryptographically signed and independently verifiable. Anyone — a regulator, an auditor, or a customer's own legal team — can check that evidence at consentree.in/verify.html without needing privileged access to Consent Tree's systems or having to trust the company's word.

“Most compliance tools ask a business to trust a vendor's dashboard. We built Consent Tree so that trust is not required — the evidence verifies itself.”

Built for the Indian Act, not adapted from one. Consent Tree is built ground-up around the DPDP Act's specific requirements — including native support for India's Consent Manager framework, built into the platform from the start rather than added on later. The platform covers consent capture and withdrawal, data principal rights (access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal) fulfilment, and a live compliance-control view mapped to the Act's provisions.

What is live today

  • Consent management — capture, withdrawal, and a published notice framework, live at consentree.in and running on the company's own site.
  • Data principal rights handling — intake, identity verification, and fulfilment workflows for access, correction, erasure and grievance requests.
  • Verifiable evidence — every consent record is signed and independently checkable, publicly, without a login.
  • A free introductory privacy certification — a Level 1 assessment for privacy practitioners with no proctoring, webcam monitoring, or biometric verification at any level.
  • Encryption at rest — AES-256-GCM protects stored data.

The platform is available now at consentree.in, with guided onboarding and a free compliance risk scan for organisations wanting an initial read on their DPDP exposure.
